Jurisdiction of suit

Dear experts,

I had a contract with a logistics company based in Kolkata, but the contractual clause specified that in the event of any disputes, the jurisdiction of the court shall be Delhi. However, the cause of action has occurred in Bangalore. I would like to seek your advice on whether I can file a suit in Bangalore despite the jurisdiction mentioned in the contract agreement.

Even though the clause state about jurisdiction for dispute, there's no restriction to file a consumer redressal case at Bangalore

You shall file the case in Delhi only.

You can file complaint where the cause of action wholly or partly arises Ior where the opposite party Carrie's business or resides so complaint can be filed at place Bangalore .
