Is this perjury

(Querist) 19 September 2012 This query is : Resolved 
Ld Counsles,

If a witness in a criminal case during cross examination denies his knowledge about his own criminal records such denies knowledge about Anicipatory Bail granted by HC to him, his being arrayed as Accused 7 in another crminal case, will all these denial amounts to false statement on oath during cross examintion amounting to perjury?

Please clarify.

all that he said is only his lawyer knows about it not him.

It does not amounts to perjure, because it is denial.
