Rs.1,60,000/-pf,ppf,lic etc. + 20,000/- on infrastructure bond .

Dear All,
For FY ending on March 31, 2011
Basic Exemption limit for men of less than 65 years of age is Rs. 160,000/-

Rebate on Investment in LIC/PPF/Tax Saving Mutual Fund/Investements in NSCs etc. is Rs. 100,000/-
Additional Rebate in investment in Infra bond is Rs. 20,000/- At present IDFC Infra development bond's issue is open the said issue will close on October 16, 2010.
