How to find land/house registered on a particular name?

I have caught a criminals (cash cheating case) with aid of police and the culprits are in judicial custody. I suspect now the police is inclined towards the culprits.
I want to change the investigating officer (please clarify whether it is possible) if not then I want to know whether any land or flat purchased in the culprits or culprit's kith & kins name.

Please guide me.

For change of IO you have to give detailed complaint to the appropriate authority.

What you have to do with culprits' proerty?

If any property is in the name culprits then is that not possible to attach?

Appropriate authority means commissioner of Police or less than also do please clarify.
