Hostility of original complainant & malicious prosecution

in false criminal case instituted on police report & triable by j.m.f.c, there is great possibility
that original complainant in his chief examination may deny the contents of his statment given
to the police & turn hostile in order to escape from proceedings u/s 340 crpc against him.
being a defence advocate what is spot remedy to tacle such situation at such moment

If the original complainant disowns his alleged statement, your client is absolved of his offence. What more you want?
