I have a case for the defendant in an private arbitration case. I have challenged the signature in the document produced by the claimant. I have filed a petition for sending the document along with my original signature to the forensic science laboratory which is under the control of the Government. My query is "Will the forensic science laboratory entertain applications from private arbitrators or individuals to ascertain the facts?"

No. The court would refer the signatures to the Forensic Science Laboratory for verification of signatures. After verification, the FSL would offer its findings to the courts. FSL will not entertain private opinions for arriving at its findings.

There are private signature and thumb impression experts having entirely scientific approach. You may obtain their services also.
