based on latest SC verdict is Giving dowry stll a crime? or as per verdict Dowry law as been changed which make taking dowry a punishable offence but not giving dowry.

yes it is an offence, but it wont stop.

Giving and taking both are punishable but the person who makes complaint gets immunity from prosecution.

if wife make a complaint does her parent would also enjoy immunity from prosecution.
