Where the gift deed need to be registered ?

Is it with the Sub Registrar where the property is situated ? OR Is it with the Subregistrar where the donor is staying ? OR
Can it be with the District Registrar of the District wherein the property and the donor are both located. OR It could be any registrar s office ?

This is in the state of Karnataka
