my father has gifted 2nd floor of his property to me one year back . can i gift this property to my wife . is there any shorterm capital gain invovled . this is legal to gift this property to my wife.

1. Yes you can gift this to your wife.
2. There is indeed a short term capital gain int. Take help of your tax consultant to calculate the capital gain.
