My Grand father made registerd gahan khat in which he paid some amount to party against his agreecaltural land and party steel cultivating the same . can we claim our right on that land . please suggest

1. Redeem the mortgage.

2. In the state of UP, mortgage of agricultural land is not allowed with possession.

so you have to check local law about mortgage of agricultural land.
