If a person does not comply with the illegal order of the Court, does it amount to contempt of Court?

illegal or legal, court order is binding as long as it is not set aside by the appellate court.

As long as the order is holding the field, it is binding on the parties to such a proceeding that resulted in the said order.

No question about the order (legal or illegal). Every one must follow the order of the Court. The question of Legality can be decide only in an appeal or revision.

Our legal system and constitution provides us liberty to approach the higher forum within specified time
