Dear Expert Members, Facts: I & my friend hail from Andhra Pradesh. V R 498a Victims, SIFF Members and RTI Activists. Today afternoon(4.00 pm) i got a call from some stranger named singh that he is investigating officer confirming about my details and asked to speak to his advocate Renuka Chaudhary. In his conversation he said "there was a case filed against me for a fraud of Rs 45000/- in Tizari Courts @ Delhi and wanted to me to appear tomorrow(01-02-2012) in Delhi And the same thing happend with my friend on 02-01-2012 from different number and the call story is same. Suprisingly both of our names were not there in the cause list of that said court Question: 1) Is it true to happen or any one is playing with us. 2) How a case can be registered without giving hearing notice to the other parrty 3) Without receving summons from the Court how one can appear. 4) Can the court(through their PP's)ask any one to appear without summons( calling over phone ) in short time Any advice to face such calls or situations

1. Someone is playing but you are not the only sufferers. I was also telephoned once by an unknown person in similar way.
2. You can make a written complaint in the white coloured crime police branch of your district.
3. Not possible.
4. No.
Record such conversation, save the no. and make detailed complaint with police.

You can complaint to Police , and ask to investigate , if LL No. or Mobile No., he is calling from??
or simply ignore it.
