property inherited from self earned property of parents

I have inherited property from my parents, (who purchased it from their earnings), can i give it to one of two children by will or I have to give it equally to both.

The property inherited by you after 1956 is your personal property and you can dispose it of as you like. If you wish to give it by way of WILL to any one of your children, you can do so. The other child cannot question your action. But remember, the WILL would take effect only after the death of the testator (i.e. after the death of the person who makes the WILL).
