PLEASE MEMBER SUGGEST ME,

IF THE EMPLOYEE LEFT THE COMPANY AND HAS GIVEN INDEMNITY BOND THAT HE WILL INDEMNIFIES ALL THE MEDICAL EXPENSES TREATED AT HIS HOMETOWN. BEFORE THAT COMPANY TOLD HIM TO TAKE TREATMENT BY COMPNAY DOCTOR, BUT HE REFUSED. DIES AT HIS HOME TOWN DUE TO HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE. WILL COMPANY BE LIABLE TO PAY COMPENSATION
Kirti Kar Tripathi (Expert) 24 February 2011
Under the statutory law of compensation to an employee, he is not entitled for any compensation as the death of employee was not on account duties performed in the course of employment but in case there exists any condition in the services conditions of the employees or in standing order or there exist any administrative order of employer for reimbursement of medical expenses and/or compensation, in that event, the employer is liable to make payment of the same.
