ESIC Limit

There is change in the ESIC Limit from Rs.10000 to Rs.15000. what is the effective date for the implication of the same.

The Ministry of Labour and Employment Government of India vide Notification dt 20.4.2010 has amended the Employees State Insurance (Central) Rules, 1950 enhancing the wage limit for ESI contribution from Rs.10,000/- to Rs.15,000/- per month w.e.f 1st May 2010.
