Consumer Court's case

My client bookes his stock through a transport and in transit the truck of transport fired and my client's stock also burned in fire.. now i want to file a suit in consumer court to recover my loss in the shape of damage.. please send me performa

in fact there is no prescribed proforma for filing a case at consumer court.

initially sent a legal notice to the transport company demanding the damages and wait for about 2 to 3 weeks before filing the case.

depending upon claim amount the consumer cases could be filed at either district forum,state forum and national forum.

You have to issue notice to the Transport company.
Then file a complaint against the Transport company under Section.12 of Consumer Protection Act.1986.
