Dear sir,
I am staying in a home for past 10 months and now i want to shift. When i asked the same to my landlord she says that 2 months of notice must be given as per the rules and if you want to leave, then i will be deducting the rents to 2 months with Rs. 11000 of painting cost.
The deposit which we paid was Rs. 25000, if she deducts 2 months of rent i.e., 7000 per month, and Rs.11000 of maintenance cost, we get nil balance.
The main thing is, she didn't make us the rental agreement.
Please help me in what i should do next.

Sir,
If she have not made any rental agreement then you are not bound to serve any notice. Did you paid the money in cash or cheque to keep a record of the transaction of the same for future references.
Send a legal notice and recover your money.
