My husband and I jointly own a residential property in Delhi in the following proportion: Me - 50% Husband - 25% Father in law - 25% My husband and I are getting divorced and as part of the settlement he and his father have agreed to transfer their respective share in my favour. I wanted to understand from you what is the best way to transfer (relinquishment / partition / release deed??) so that the transfer is irrevocable and also stamp duty and registration implication is minimal.
