If a doctor can do business

(Querist) 22 February 2013 This query is : Resolved 
whether a doctor can do business or not?In the MCI rules it not mentioned anywhere that a doctor cannot do any other business apart from his medical profession.I want to know this from legal experts,as with lawyers and C.A.'s the business is prohibited.whether a medical personnel can make a partnership firm or a company to get engage in other type of business also.

There is no refusal clause in MCI rules so there is no prohibition thereto as asked for.
