Land acquisition

(Querist) 14 July 2012 This query is : Resolved 
Dear Experts,

My agricultural land has been acquired in 1994 by Punjab Govt. but till date the possession of the said land is with me. The Punjab Govt. has not taken any initiate with regard to my said land.
Now my query is:
Whether there is any provision under law (citation if any) that I can get back my said land back and the acquisition order of 1994 can be De-notified.
