The question arises, whether you prepared the books as an assignment in fulfillment of your ICA educational course assignment OR as a job assignment given to you on request by the concerned Trust?
Unless the job was specifically assigned to you by the Trust for preparing/ completion of the books, you won't have any right to claim any kind of remuneration from the Trust.

I engaged for maintaining books of accounts and payment was settled to be paid after the end of quarter. On account of exam preparation, I could not collect my fee. In the mean time , those charged with governess ( TCWG )changed. New one elected chairman promised me verbally to pay Rs.2000/- as installment , paid some instalments and later on are refusing on one pretex or another.

If you have proof of your exercise of labour or skill then you can take legal recourse but that may not be cost effective or it may involve more costs that what you are supposed to get.

You serve a legal notice for your arrears and then file a civil suit before the civil court.

Initiate Civil suit after non-receiving payment on serving legal notice.

You can initiate a civil suit if you have proof of work done.
But for small payments, I won't advise you to go in for litigation.
