gramakantam

(Querist) 30 October 2011 This query is : Resolved 
what is gramakantam is it govt land or private land iam residing in gramakantam in andrapradesh hyderabad rural area it was gramapanchayath now it is merged in greater hyderabad muncipality
as ihave purchased it 20 years long back from neighbour in agreement of sale now it is known as gramakantam now what is my position

Gramakantam is Government land which is belong to Gramapanchayat. All the rights vest in government only.

Grama Kantam land vests in state of Andhra Pradesh and is managed by Gram Panchayat and
Expert sanjeev murthy desai has rightly guided you.In UP the same land is called gaonsabha land.
