in which mode, payment was made?

what is exact policy of management behind this?

It seems a case of cheating. Whether the said school is Govt.Aided or not is to be ascertained first.

Yes! experts are right.you have stood cheated.A tricky play of management to extract money.you have not disclosed the mode
and source of payment??
Better get a lawyer engaged and deal the issue accordingly.

So far as the matter of service is concerned, it seems you were engaged on unaided post and the school management would have sought from you Rs. 2 lakh against expenses (say bribe) to get your post sanctioned and meanwhile a dispute may have arisen causing your ouster and management might be claiming that payment has already been made to appropriate authority so they cannot refund.

Though you have not mentioned these facts in your query but on the basis of my experience, I think the facts told by me are correct.

As you are also a consenting party to ge your post sanctioned and have also paid money accordingly so try to get your post sanctioned or file FIR against management as advised.

Seems, there was no agreement.

The trust can show these 2 Lakhs as grant/ donation.

You have been duped.
