Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 09 April 2011 This query is : Resolved
R/Sirs
RTI query was filed in Bhopal(MP)against Vigilance Deptt, who refused to part with and on Appeal it was also rejected by the Appellate Authority, hence approached CIC. Didn't listen the cited cases and refused under Section 8(1).
Can a Writ be filed in MP High Court since Applicant resides there or Writ has to be filed in Delhi High Court only?
Please offer views with pros & cons.
Advance THANKS.

you need verify that the information you sought comes under Sec 8 of said act or not, where the depat comes under the exemption listed in schedule. so writ is not allowed.
