Its depends upon your job.. If a company is a registered company mean that company have to issue salary slip to the employees.

It depends on nature of job and employment and also on the service conditions applicable to an employee. So far as payment of wages act is concerned it does not prescribe any provision for issuing of payment slip, only requirement is to maintain the records of payment of wages made to the employees. However, it is advisable to issue payment slip to the employees.

Instead of using the word "necessary" you ought to have used the word "compulsory" or "mandate". Employees are at liberty to demand pay slip and the employer is duty bound to issue pay slip upon demand.

It depends on the mode of payment. If the company pays through bank then there is no need to issue pay slip. If payment in cash then it is necessary to issue pay slip.
