Specific Performance is a remedy provided by the Specific Relief Act. A typical example would be an Agreement for Sale, where the seller is not coming up to sell the property as agreed even though the buyer is willing and ready to pay the price/balance. In such case, the buyer is advised to file a suit for specific performance.
Khaleel Ahmed Mohammed (Expert) 11 July 2010
For every breach of agreement, either party is entitle to file a suit for specific performance.Provided social agreements are not enforceable.
