Filed for divorce

(Querist) 25 June 2010 This query is : Resolved 
Dear Sir/ Madam,

I have filed for divorce but I want to know wheather my wife has the right to ask for the ownership of my property & what are the maintainence I will have to pay.. as she is MCOM & used to work before my childs birth, where her salary was 9500 & now my salary is 16000, where I pay loan 11000/..

Please guide.

she can not ask for ownership over your properties. but she can lawfully claim maintenance.

She has no right of ownership on your property but could claim maintenance.
