Wht is labour law tells in this situation?

Sirs, we have taken over production unit (semi govt) to running which was stopped production coz of losses from 4 yrs. but its workers (which taken rest from 4 years) don't working with us. workers union demanding increment in wages. but Hw could we pay them? Plz tell any labour law supporting our side.

The demand is illegal and is not tenable before law. You refuse them to raise any such illegal demand.
