My mother expired in 2024. She made a registered will in 2003. She has one son and two daughters. As per the will daughters got the 1/7 the share each in the property. Someone told me that daughters can ask more share in the property as per law. Is it possible?

If it was your mother's own and absolute property then the bequest made in the Will shall be authority hence don't be misguided by the words of some rumour mongers and get disappointed at the end.

Show relevant documents to a local prudent lawyer for proper analyses of facts and professional advise since the facts posted and clarification given is insufficient to consider and oblige as it is still vague and incomplete. such as how did mother acquire title (ownership) of bequeathed property, where the subject property is located, what type of amendment is referred by you so on and so forth.
