Use of residence for professional practice

I hear that it is not necessary for any professional - lawyer, architect, CA, CS etc to have a commercial property to practice. He can do so from residential property as well. MCGM has issued blanket permission in this regard. Is it true? Can anyone give me a copy of the permission.

permission is not necessary. to carry out the profession in a commercial property permission is not necessary.

sorry Rajeev probably Sachin's query invited some different response :)
Sachin is saying that a lawyer or CA can run his profession from his residential property as well...and their is some written permission in this regard by MCGM.
if someone is having any such notification/ order then pls help Sachin.

It is good thing the MCGM has issued a Notification or /claigication that individual Professionals who have their office in part of the their residence needs no permission and it can not be commercial usage !
