Calculation for closed garage for redevelopment

(Querist) 27 September 2015 This query is : Resolved 
I have a closed garage in the stilt of residential building in Mumbai. It was allotted by the Society few years after the building was made for a minor consideration. Garage is not registered.
Our society is now going for redevelopment. Can I claim garage area to be added to my flat area? Can I also get additional FSI for garage?
Please guide practices normally adopted by the builders. Thanks.

There is no document / deed. It was given by society for some consideration.
