Police enquiry not complete but got summon from court to appear

(Querist) 17 March 2015 This query is : Resolved
Hi
I am member in this prestigious club since 2011.Thanks for all your suggestions and legal guidance.
Since my brother-in-law lost child custody case he freshly filed a case under section IPC 324 and 506 on me alleging that i attacked him and threatened to kill him.
He filled an FIR. But i received summon from court also.Upon enquiring in Police Station they said they did not even complete the investigation.
What is this process and now what to do?
Kindly suggest.thanks.

Sir,

Wait for some time to get the investigation completed .... If you think the allegations are false and baseless then you can file a petition for quashing of the FIR ...

Attend the court on the date as per summons otherwise warrants may be issued.

Police would complete investigation in due time.

On receipt of summons from court, you have to appear before the court. On appearance you will come to know the further details on it.

SUMMON is a direction of court for your apperance. It has no connection with your F.I.R.and investigation related to. So appear before the court on date.
