Transfer of name on a share certificate

(Querist) 07 December 2014 This query is : Resolved 
I jointly own a property with my daughter. If I want to transfer the entire property to her name. Am I allowed to do so. Will she have to pay some additional transfer fee.

you will have to pay stamp duty on gift deed for transfer in favour of your daughter . further regsitration charges will have to be paid .

no transfer charges are payable to society as gift deed has executed in favour of family member
