Wrong advocate notice sent

We have sent advocate notice to client. Inadvertently notice is sent in name of other company. e.g. client having liability against XYZ while notice sent in name of ABC. Notice sent in Jan'14 and till date client has not revert.

What would be consequences of such wrong notice? - Please advise

Better write a letter recalling your notice, mentioning that it was sent inadvertently.

In addition to the above opinion, you could also to be sent a "Rectification Notice" mentioning the actual company's name OR you could send a Fresh Legal Notice, through the advocate.

Recall the previous notice. Send fresh notice.
