My name is Amit Shukla. By profession I am an Advocate. Please advice that can I make a website in my own name like- www.amitshuklaadvocate.in/com etc.Is there any legal bar or formality?

BCI has been of the view lawyers can not advertise resulting into a challenge before Apex Court wherein BCI by an affidavit filed through its secretary S Radhakrishnan, the BCI submitted that it has decided to permit such advertisements through internet .Reply was asked from petitioner lawyer,what happened thereafter is is not known to me.BUT ONE THING IS CERTAIN THAT YOU CAN GO FOR A WEBSITE.

Amit shukla Ji, As per my knowledge a practice lawyer can not joined another earning firm.so if you want to make a website it may be informative and help full.
other way till date i have no any objection idea regarding this matter.
