Role of acb in investigating a complaint

Sir,
I have registered a complaint to the ACB director in Feb 2011 against a government employee who is having assets beyond his known source of income, either personally or on benami names.
On 7th July 2011 I again called up the Director, ACB, asking hime the status of the case. The director asked me whether I gave the complaint to him and again he has asked about the details of the case and asked my name and phone number.
Till now as I see there's no action taken and the Director has also been shifted.
What action should I pursue to get the ACB to act upon the complaint.

as far as i know if there is a disapropriate assets incurred by a state government emolyee and if there is complaint made to the acb, the acb has jurisdiction to investigate the case.

If you have a properly registered complaint then change of Director will not effect the case.
In DA cases investigating agencieshave to make a lot of discreet inquiry before lanunching of raid.
If you feel there is deliberate inaction you can ile "wrint mandamus" in HIgh Court.

send a written registered complaint to the ACB with copy to the secretary of the department where the govt employee is working.

Sorry to disagree with Mr vatsa.
If you are giving the complaint of DA case to AXB or CBI then do not give it to the department unless you are sure deptt having a strong internal vigilance wing.
Normally corrupt persons have deep roots indeptt and premature leakage of information can hamper the work of ACB/CBI andeven the project can fail.
