Mrp on imported laboratory reagents

Dear Expert,
Is it mandatory to put MRP on kits imported in india. If yes where can we read the rules ? also can mrp be affixed after importing or before exporting to india ?
there are many Multi national companies operating in india without mrp hence is the confusion .
please advise
