Admission rejected lkg-cbse

(Querist) 18 April 2012 This query is : Resolved
Dear all, i would like to know, the forms given for LKG in cbse schools for admns, and later the parents are not call for. This makes the parent mentally upset. Whether is it possible to file any Petition before the highcourt to challenge that - 1. Those who gets admission forms should be given seats ( 1st come first service). I would like to know what are the possiblities and difficulties. Please help with positive approach, so that i can do some social help to parents who suffer to get admissions for their wards.

Purchase of the form is not sufficient. After purchasing form, its deposit within the stipulated time is also necessary. As Delhi High Court has framed guidelines that no interview shall take place for the admission in LKG class so the schools already follow 'first come-First Serve' pattern. If you find any irregularity to this settled rule position, you may issue notice to that school and then may fetch it to contempt of court.

Even then if you desire to file writ then you can also do so but generally courts do refer the earlier judgments on the subject.

some schools take screening test even for pre KG students . some charge capitation fees . most parents yield to the demand as they want admission for their children .

no parent wants to complain for fear that their child wont be denied admission .

it would be better if aggrived parent moves court for action against the school mangaments

Difficult to succeed if you take any action against the school, as the school have always a valid defence of filling up of available seats. It is to be noted that the schools have limited seats and they are not authorised to take admissions for more seats than permitted.

Dear Maran,
Education has become business, there are competions amongs the school also, if you think , in a particular school you want admission, then schools are acting and functioning at their discretion and we become helpless. If you still aggrived , you write a complaint to Education Officer, under whose jurisdiction alleged school is running.
