Joint account

(Querist) 30 June 2009 This query is : Resolved 
Dear Sir,

I have joint S.B account with my uncle.
My uncle is having pass book and when I requested my bankers to provide statement,
they in turn requesting us to provide passbook though I approached them with ID Proof.
Please advice how to get statement of account with out passbook for verification.

You can request Freshh Pass Book it can be issued to Accoutn Holders

Also make an application for issue of statement of account. The bank may levy charges but you will get it.

You can ask for new passbook also give them an application for issue the bank statement for your account.
