Motor vehicle act

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 29 December 2011 This query is : Resolved
In the year 2006 I have exchanged my old schooter and brought a new bike from LML company dealer. The dealer provided me rebate of Rs. 6000 withouting noting anywhere in hard copy. He also kept my old schooter in his custody along with RC book by giving only a receipt on a plane paper and assured me to inform if any customer comes to buy that for finalization. But till date he not informed me about that vehicle and my residence is also transferred. Now I am afraid of mis-use of that schooter. Please suggest solution.

you first send the notice that we have changed earlier address and what about the old bike details, if there reply not satisfied then file case for cheating and abusing.

As per the above advices I had sent a letter to the dealer asking about the schooter and noticed to be ready for legal formalities, But today a person contacted me on mobile phone and informed that the notice was received by him. He also informed that the dealer's Firm "Bilasa Motor Company" is closed & not existing today. Furthermore the old schooter was disposed off as scrap which doesn't attract any legal formalities. Please guide what to do now.
