dear experts,One of the employies worked 4and 1/2 years in an MNC .Can he eligible for gratutity?

No. Minimum days of service in the fifth year should have been 240 days for the purpose of eligibility to claim gratuity.

yes, its compulsory to completed 240 days.

your fifth year falls short of 240 days,hence you can not get.
