Sirs,
Thank you all for answering my queries now and then. Here, I would like to ask another query. The only respondent in this case is my son-in-law,who is in USA.Can his appearance be dispensed with in court. Can his counsel represent on his behalf? According to section 205(1)CrPc.Please let me know as to what the Hon'ble Court will decide on the matter.
With warm regards.
Raj Kumar Makkad (Expert) 29 August 2011
There is no need of appearance of respondents in person in DV cases as provided under this Act specifically so there is no application of section 205 (1) Cr. PC in your case.

So far as relief is concerned, nothing can be commented without knowing fully about the pleasing of the parties but one thing is sure, absence or presence of any party has no bearing on the merits of the case.
Dr Anil Kumar Singh (Expert) 29 August 2011
I agree with Mr Kakkad. No comment can be made without any details as every case has its own nature and circumstance.
