Society Sites formed in area reserved for park

Hi Experts,
My friend has purchased a site from a allote of Govt. employees Society which turned out to be earlier earmarked for park.
Details as hereunder;
1) Society purchased & converted land in 2003.
2)Alloted the site in 2003 and thereafter the sale deed in 2008 to the original & got B-katha in his name.
3)My friend purchased the site in Jan-11 & also got the katha in his name.
Now he has come to gather that the space was initially reserved for park, but subsequently sites were made out & alternate space provided for the park.
Pls advice will my friends title with respect to the property be affected due to the above confusion of park area.
