Action on Mother in Law

If wife had deserted and husband calls at the residence of in-laws to talk to his wife but she do not allow to talk to her and abuses on the phone.
Can any action be taken under law against such mother in law?

Complaint can be filed for the offence under 504 IPC against mother inlaw. You can file application before SDM or DM under 98 Cr.P.C for restoration of females, if your wife is willing to live with you.
Or You can file writ for habeas corpus.

No she is with her parents and all have connived and are forcing me to accept their unreasonable demand.
They are not allowing to talk to her and she is with them and she also don't want to talk until i accept their demand.
Whenever i call my mother in law abuses me and cut the phone.
Please advise what to do ?

Already 9-10 months have gone.

Will filing RCR have any benefit as they are not ready to compromise.
In any case if i win the RCR i will have to wait for 1 year again for her coming back.
It also seems unreasonable and wastage of time.
