whether Domestic violence Act allow to make grand mother as party?Property is in her name . But husband constructed the house and he is no more. Grand mother pulled her out of home.Thank you.

Yes a complaint may be lodged against the grand mother also.

There is conflcting views among the various high courts regarding making the women as respondednt. You can try anyway.

Grandmother can be made party but the widow grand daughter in law will not get right to reside because that was not the shared household.It is exclusive property of the GRand mother in law. See Achala 's case law.
