Legal action by a company

(Querist) 25 August 2010 This query is : Resolved
Hi,

i had a query regarding legal action by a company on non payment of charges. What is the maximum amount below which no company can take legal action on its subscribers?

Thanks,
Vineet

Dear Vineet,
More than legal your question relates to taking a business call as there is no quantified sums of money defined for taking action against the subscribers of a company who fail to clear the charges.

Thanks Daksh & Rajeev. I was told that there is a limit of Rs 20000, below which if u have any payment to be made, the company cannot take legal actions against you. Can you please clarify?

Thanks again.
