Can you please guide what legal remedies are available if the refund of advance amount paid under sale agreement is delayed beyond the stipulated time as mentioned in the agreement.
This is for a BMRDA project in Bengaluru (Nelamangala)
Also is there eligibility for compensation for delay?

First issue a legal demand notice demanding the return of the advance paid amount with interest from the date of deposit, failing to respond you may file a suit for recovery of your money through court of law.

Yes. Issue a legal notice to the seller/builder and then file a recovery suit in a civil court.

You may file complaint before Consumer Commission and claim the amount paid advance to BMRDA under sale agreement which was not refund within stipulated period and also claim compensation as it is deficiency in services of BMRDA.

You have the option of filing complaint before jurisdictional Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission for deficiency of service and suit (civil) for recovery of the amount.
A writ petition can also be filed against the authority.
It is better to seek professional services of a local prudent lawyer.
