Property share

(Querist) 19 December 2012 This query is : Resolved 
Ancestral property of paternal grand father, located in Kerala and 4 share holders are there, one among is a male ,member. The other 3 are married females. One of the female, got married in 1976, other got female converted herself as Christian and married in 1992, and the third female got married in 1992 . The question is, whether, the female who got married in 1976 & the female who got inter community marriag can claim their share in this?

If either of the parents have died after 2005, all 4 legal heirs shall inherit equal share irrespective of their year of marriage and conversion of other religion or marriage in other caste.

THank Q sir. But the father & mother has died earlier in 1992 itself .

Now the question is who can get the property? Whether the females can claim share?

If the property was self acquired in the hands of your parents then the situation shall remain same but if the property was ancestral then there is no right of females.

U hav mentioned that if the property is ancestral then there is no right of females.

So, kindly advise and support me with the rulings available if any regading Kerala property as I had mentioned earlier..
