Dear Sirs,

I request your opinion on the following. I had written RTI to state DGP, SP, etc. But none of them have given satisfactory answers.

1. Can a common man keep & carry sword or chopper for self-defence?
2. As per Section 4 of Arms Act, Central Govt can notify areas where keeping & carrying swords and other similar weapons will require license. Are there any such notifications issued with respect to maharashtra.
3. What are the weapons ordinary person keep for his self-defence without voilating any law.

I request experts to give their esteemed advise.
