Eviction of tenants

(Querist) 17 August 2012 This query is : Resolved 
"A" is landlord and staying in the ground floor of her apartment. She had rented first floor to "B" and they are tenants for past 9 years. There was no formal agreement or tenancy deed between them. Now "A" wants the first floor for personal use and has asked several times the tenants to vacate but they are not vacating. What recourse does A has with her.
Please advise.

issue legal notice and file suit for eviction .
